Spacewalk Set for Tomorrow Morning NASA astronauts Barry Wilmore and Terry Virts will conduct their second spacewalk outside the Quest airlock of the International Space Station in four days on Wednesday, Feb. 25. NASA Television coverage will begin at 5 a.m. CST. Wilmore and Virts, will conduct more cable routing in preparation for the delivery of new docking ports for U.S. commercial crew vehicles, will lubricate components of the Canadarm2 robotic arm, and will prepare two berthing ports on the Tranquility module for station reconfiguration work planned later this year. Wilmore and Virts will be assisted by European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti who will help the crew suit up inside Quest and who will operate Canadarm2 for Virts to lubricate elements of the arm's end effector.   The spacewalk is scheduled to begin around 6:10 a.m.   Wilmore will be designated as extravehicular (EV) crew member 1 and wear a spacesuit bearing red stripes. Virts will be EV 2 and will wear a suit with no stripes. For the next spacewalk on Sunday, the third in the series, they will reverse roles, with Virts as EV 1 wearing red stripes, and Wilmore as EV 2 wearing a suit without stripes.   Built by Boeing under contract to NASA, the International Docking Adapters are a critical component of the station's reconfiguration to ensure long-term docking ports for future commercial crew and other visiting spacecraft. They will permit the standard station crew size to grow from six to seven, potentially doubling the amount of crew time devoted to research aboard the orbiting laboratory.   JSC, Ellington Field, Sonny Carter Training Facility and White Sands Test Facility employees with hard-wired computer network connections can view the events using the JSC EZTV IP Network TV System on channel 404 (standard definition) or channel 4541 (HD). Please note: EZTV currently requires using Internet Explorer on a Windows PC or Safari on a Mac. Mobile devices, Wi-Fi, VPN or connections from other centers are currently not supported by EZTV.   First-time users will need to install the EZTV Monitor and Player client applications: For those WITH admin rights (Elevated Privileges), you'll be prompted to download and install the clients when you first visit the IPTV website For those WITHOUT admin rights (Elevated Privileges), you can download the EZTV client applications from the ACES Software Refresh Portal (SRP)   If you are having problems viewing the video using these systems, contact the Information Resources Directorate Customer Support Center at x46367, or visit the FAQ site.   For NASA TV streaming video, schedule and downlink information, click here.   For more information about the International Space Station and its crew, click here.
